Hi. I’m Chelsea. I have worked as a pediatric occupational therapist since graduating from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2011. I have worked at outpatient clinics, an inpatient rehab hospital, in schools, and like many others since COVID-19 in a virtual setting. Over the years, I have come across lots of activities and ideas to use in treatment sessions. That is why I created Chelsea’s Clubhouse. It’s a place to help children reach their full pOTential. I hope that you find some helpful information, support, and encouragment from this blog. They say it takes a village to raise children so welcome to the club where we are here to grow, support, and encourage one another through the successes and challenges of life.
On the personal side, I am married to my best friend and we have one son who keeps us on our toes all the time. He challenges me to think outside of the box to make sure his sensory needs are being met in creative and functional ways.
